I remember this a while back so i decided to post it, it was one of the funnier things i have seen spread around the internet, in the matter of a few hours they had a ton of people on myspace thinking Chuck Norris was Dead. The funny part was that if Chuck Norris Died it would have been all over every major news source, yet people still thought that Chuck Norris died.
I love the internet, fooling people for around 20 years now.
One site i have to mention because its old and dear to my heart is Happy Keg. It is ranking pretty high for the term Kegerator which is amazing, it is on the second page for kegerator and it is a term i did not even try for, it gets plenty of traffic and there is a pretty crazy forum attached to it, that is how the site actually came about is we needed a main site for the beloved forum. They also have plenty of beer games, a lot of how to’s like how to build a beer bong or how to build a kegerator.
These things are an absolute blast, it is one of my other side projects i was planning on distributing them in America but then i got lazy and never finished the site. I bought 2 different domains for it and it never went anywhere, i sold a ton on Ebay but i never decided to buy anymore, i still have a few cases of Sky Lanterns left. One of the quickest ways to get indexed by Google is to utilize social bookmarking sites, that is to say if you do not have a bunch of sites to link to yours or you don’t have a bunch of friends who will link to you. Basically you cruise through your site and Digg, Reddit, Newsvine etc, all of your posts. Google will catch these on all of the different sites and spyder yours, you wil get indexed and cached in no time.
